I'll be speaking about Amazon Japan. I've been in Japan since 1995 and in retail since 1999, giving me about 25 years of experience in the Japanese market. My focus now is on online channels, primarily Amazon and Rakuten, though we also handle distribution and run our own brands. We help international clients—usually brands already selling on Amazon in the US, UK, or Europe

About four years ago, I founded Digit Sense, a software product studio. We started during the early days of COVID, building software-as-a-service products, including web and mobile apps, primarily for the tech industry. We also serve companies in e-commerce, retail tech, marketing technology, IoT, and more. Lately, we’ve been focusing more on AI development as the technology landscape continues to evolve.

I’m a user experience designer with extensive international experience across Europe and Asia. Like you, I’m a very busy person, working on a variety of projects for a wide range of clients. I consider myself an industry professional, but I’m also an academic with a well-rounded international design education, including a PhD in design. Currently, I’m teaching design at a university in Manchester, North England. I look forward to seeing you all in Chiang Mai, Thailand, later this year!
